Mr. Greenfield concentrates in the area of trademark, copyright and Internet domain name disputes. Mr. Greenfield has represented several major corporations managing Intellectual Property and domain name portfolios. He has advised clients on intellectual property enforcement issues; initiated domain name practice and Internet issues related dispute practice; advised clients on domain name registration and enforcement issues, including filing domain name arbitration proceedings; enforced online rights by initiation actions against domain name and web site violators and cleared rights for clients to use copyrighted content for various professional and consumer publications; assisted in patent litigation and advised clients in areas of technology protection, conducted inter partes proceedings before the U.S. District Courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, conducted on-line database searches for worldwide trademark and pharmaceutical clearance, prepared settlement agreements in trademark and copyright disputes; advised clients on advertising issues and represented clients in trademark and copyright litigation matters.

Since joining the Intellectual Property, Corporate and Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Greenfield has assisted with preparation of complaints under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

Mr. Greenfield graduated from Brooklyn College and from the New York Law School. He has served as a member of the adjunct faculty at Fairleigh Dickinson University since 2001 and teaches courses in civil litigation, specifically federal court practice and intellectual property law.

Mr. Greenfield is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he served as Chair of the INTA Internet Litigation Subcommittee between 1999 and 2001. He also has been an oral Argument Judge in the Eastern Regional Finals of the Saul Lefkowitz National Moot Court Competition in Trademark and Unfair Competition Law since 1998. He is an active in ICANN and Internet governance issues.

Mr. Greenfield is the Principal Author and Editor of Trademark Law and the Internet: Issues, Case Law and Practice Tips, published by the International Trademark Association (INTA), Second Edition December 2001 with December 2003 Supplement.
