Louis J. Salerno is Of Counsel to the firm and represents publicly traded and privately owned entities in corporate matters. His practice concentrates on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate counseling, corporate structure and governance, and international law.

Prior to joining Silverberg Goldman & Bikoff, Mr. Salerno was Senior Corporate Counsel to ARINC Incorporated of Annapolis, Maryland.  ARINC is a world leader in transportation communications and systems engineering.  As Senior Counsel, Mr. Salerno handled mergers and acquisitions, corporate and regulatory matters, international joint ventures, bank financing, and intellectual property agreements.

Additionally, Mr. Salerno's  notable practice areas include: letters of intent; asset purchase agreements; antitrust compliance at the multi-million dollar level; domestic and international debt structuring; formation of international joint ventures; consortium agreements; foreign subsidiary, branch and representative offices and compliance issues; regulatory interpretation and filing (FAA, FCC, Commerce, Customs, FDA, and Treasury); confidentiality, standstill, non-competition and similar agreements; officers and directors oversight; board counsel; bylaws, minutes and resolutions maintenance; and, executive employment contracts and exit agreements.

Mr. Salerno graduated from Boston University in 1980 and from Villanova University Law School in 1984.  He is a member of the bar in Massachusetts, District of Columbia and Ohio; the United States Supreme Court; the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia; the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
